Muscat, Oman’s port capital, sits on the Gulf of Oman surrounded by mountains and desert. With history dating back to antiquity, it mixes high-rises and upscale shopping malls with clifftop landmarks such as the 16th-century Portuguese forts, Al Jalali and Mirani, looming over Muscat Harbor. Its modern, marble-clad Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, with 50m dome and prodigious Persian carpet, can accommodate 20,000 people.

Day1 – 29 Dec 2019: MUSCAT - ARRIVAL

Day 2- 30 Dec 2019: MUSCAT – NIZWA (175 KM) - MUSCAT

• Breakfast.
• Visit Forts and castles are Oman’s most striking cultural landmarks and together with its towers and city walls, have historically been used as defensive look-out points. It is estimated that there are over 500 forts, Castles and towers in Oman. 
• Our today visit will include a few of the ones which are more remarkable & striking in their architecture & style. 
• We start in the morning at 8.30 am to drive to the historic town of Nizwa, Oman’s cultural capital. We will visit the beautiful Nizwa center with its Fort ( outside visit ) and its massive circular cannon Tower, making it one of the most impressive forts in Oman. 
• We will walk through the traditional Nizwa Souq. 
• Lunch in a local restaurant. 
• After lunch we proceed to the Jabreen Fort, passing one of the oldest small towns of Oman Bahla with its fort ( outside visit). 
• We continue to Jabrin Castle, built in the 17th century, one of the finest of its kind. Its magnificent plasterwork, the carved doors and the painted wooden beams of the ceilings make this castle amazingly different. 
• After we visit Jabrin castle we start our route to return to Muscat. 
• Overnight in MUSCAT

DAY 3: 31 Dec 2019 - MUSCAT CELEBRATIONS

• Breakfast
• Then we Drive through the beautiful embassy quarter en route the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque that has a remarkable architectural achievement. As a contemporary place of worship it serves as a spiritual landmark for modern Oman, as an edifice, it maintains a perfect balance between aesthetics, culture and deeply rooted Islamic tradition. 
• Lunch will be served in the city. 
• After lunch, we will visit Old Muscat, surrounded by steep mountains and flanked by twin 16thcentury forts ‘Jalali’ & ‘Mirani’, also see the Al Alam Palace. 
• In the evening we will then invite you for a drink to end the last hours of the year then it is time to move to our gala dinner. 
• GALA DINNER IN MUSCAT – An evening to remember: Lavish buffet Unlimited soft drinks Unlimited standard alcoholic drinks Entertainment Desserts
• After dinner, we will wait for the last moment for the 2019 year,

DAY 4: 01 Jan 2020 - MUSCAT

• Breakfast.
• This morning you will enjoy Dolphin cruise and evening sunset cruise would offer you such panoramic view of the coast of Muscat.this short trip would take you all along the beautiful promenade of Muscat and would provide you with ample opportunities to film some of the landmarks of the city going past the port, Al Bustan Palace Hotel and the Al Aalam Palace with its twin Portuguese forts 
• Lunch is free
• Evening 6.30 pm we pick you from hotel, illuminated head to the Sultan’s Palace (Al Alam Palace) to take a photo of the gates and colonnaded approach. Flanked by the 16th-century Portuguese forts of Jalali and Mirani, the palace is today largely used for ceremonial purposes. 
• Drive towards the Corniche. Admire the city's attractive harbor area. 
• Then go to the Muttrah Souq to discover a mix of the old and new along with myriad sights, sounds, and fragrances from everyday life. 
• Do a little souvenir shopping and continue to visit and look at the most prominent landmark in Muscat 
• We will make a photo stop at Mohammed Al Ameen Mosque also and move to the Royal Opera house for a photo stop. 
• End of the tour. 
• Overnight in MUSCAT

DAY 5: 02 Jan 2020 – MUSCAT - DEPARTURE

• Breakfast. 
• Free time and depending on your time of flight transfer to Muscat airport for departure.
