Kathmandu and Nagarkot

ITINERARY

Day 01: Kathmandu - 1300m altitude

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport at Kathmandu and meet, assists and transfer to the hotel by our representative. Welcome drinks on arrival and briefing of tour program by one of the representative from Aarya Village Travel.

Day 02: Kathmandu-Nagarkot- 2100m via Bhaktapur

After breakfast drive to Nagarkot that takes around 1 and ½ hours. Visit Bhaktapur enroute. Bhaktapur is a unique old town divided into 24 traditional localities. It is also famous by the name ‘city of devotees’ as the landmark has the great influence of religion, culture and tantricism. The beautifully designed Bhaktapur durbar square is the center of attraction for its unique structure and rich cultural heritage.

Overnight at Nagarkot offer you to have a magnificent view of major Eastern Himalayas of Nepal including Mt. Everest (if weather permits).

Day 03: Sightseeing: Patan, Boudhanath & Pashupatinath

Early in the morning we enjoy the charming sunrise view & amazing surrounding landscapes, forests, Mountain View and the clear horizon. After Breakfast drive back to Kathmandu and start sightseeing at UNESCO Heritage Sites. Sightseeing at Patan-city of art, is a distinct place for arts and architecture that reflect on each temple, monument and palace building that were mostly built during the Malla period between 16th, 17th and 18th century, Bouddhanath Stupa- the largest Stupa of Asial, is a very important religious site for the followers of Buddhism, Pashupatinath Temple is a famous, sacred Hindu temple located at the banks of the Bagmati River. It houses lots of sacred Lingam: phallic symbol and God Shiva and many cremation places in the territory start sightseeing at UNESCO Heritage Sites. Day 04: Departure

Approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight a representative from Aarya Village Travel will transfer you to the airport for final departure to your home country.
