Kerala, a state on India's tropical Malabar Coast, has nearly 600km of Arabian Sea shoreline. It's known for its palm-lined beaches and backwaters, a network of canals. Inland are the Western Ghats, mountains whose slopes support tea, coffee and spice plantations as well as wildlife. National parks like Eravikulam and Periyar, plus Wayanad and other sanctuaries, are home to elephants, langur monkeys and tigers.

Package Includes:

- Entire round trip ex Kochi by an air-conditioned Sedan vehicle (Indigo/Dzire/ Etios/Logan or similar) for 02 – 03 adults or air-conditioned SUV vehicle (Innova/Xylo/ Scorpio/Aria or similar) for 04 – 05 adults or similar for all categories as per the itinerary. The vehicle is as per the itinerary and not at disposal. Please Note - AC will work only in the plains and will be switched-off during hill drives.

Day 01 Arrive Kochi
- Welcome to your ‘Kerala ‘ tour!
- On arrival at the airport in Kochi or railway station in Ernakulam, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
- Later, proceed on a city tour of Kochi visiting places like the St. Francis Church, the Mattancherry Palace, the Jewish Synagogue and the Chinese fishing nets in Fort Kochi area.
- St Francis Church is one of the oldest churches in India, built by Europeans. Originally built in 1503, the church has witnessed many skirmishes between Indians and the Britishers. It was declared a protected monument in 1923. This church is built in the Indo gothic style of architecture.
- The Mattancherry Palace is Portuguese palace popularly known as the Dutch Palace in the state of Kerala and was built in 1555. It served as a gift to the local Raja of Kochi. The palace stands as a testament of the Dutch rule over Kochi and neighboring areas. The palace now exhibits temple art, portraits, and exhibits of the Rajas of Kochi.
- The Jewish synagogue is also called the Pardesi Synagogue. It is located at the corner of the Jew town in the city of Kochi. It is a prayer house or shrine for people from the Jewish faith. Built in 1568, the synagogue has a 500-year-old history attached to it.
- Chinese fishing nets also called Cheena Vala are the fishing installations made in Kochi. Each net has a limited area and depth of operation. The fishing nets make a beautiful backdrop for photography.
- The rest of the evening is at leisure.
- Overnight in Kochi.
Day 02 Kochi -Munnar (130 km / approx. 4 hours drive)
- After breakfast, proceed to Munnar.
- Drive through the picturesque countryside of Munnar which is surrounded by lush green tea estates.
- On arrival, check in to the hotel/resort.
- The rest of the day is at leisure to explore this quaint hill station.
- Overnight in Munnar. (B)
Day 03 Munnar
- Today, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Munnar visiting places like the Rose Garden and the Tata Tea Museum. Note: Tata Tea Museum is closed on Mondays.
- Post lunch, visit Echo Point and Mattupetty Lake.
- At Echo point, the valley is acoustically inclined to reverberate the sounds that enter it. The legend goes that if your voice echoes thrice, you will get what you wish for.
- Mattupetty Lake is flanked by steep hills and woods and has been created by the small hydro-electricity dam. The entire area around it is covered with forests and sightings of wild animals are common. This territory is famous for its elephant sightings.
- The rest of the evening is at leisure for independent activities.
- Overnight in Munnar. (B)
Day 04 Munnar to Thekkady (105 km / approx. 3 1/2 hours drive)
- Today, proceed to Thekkady, en route enjoy a Spice Plantation tour.
- On arrival, check in to the hotel.
- Later, proceed to Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary and enjoy boat ride at Periyar Lake.
- Note: Entry and boat ride on direct payment basis. Please carry a photo-id proof for Periyar boat ride.
- The rest of the evening is at leisure to walk through the bustling spice market in the Kumily village.
- Overnight in Thekkady. (B)
Day 05 Thekkady
- Today, the day is at leisure for independent activities.
- Overnight in Thekkady. (B)
Day 06 Thekkady - Kumarakom (142 km / approx. 4 hours drive)
- After breakfast, proceed on a picturesque drive to Kumarakom.
- On arrival, check in to the hotel.
- The rest of the day is at leisure.
- Overnight in Kumarakom. (B)
Day 07 Kumarakom
- Today the day is at leisure to explore the beauty of Kumarakom.
- Overnight in Kumarakom. (B)
Day 08 Depart Kumarakom - Kochi (50 km / approx. 2 hours drive)
- Today, you bid farewell to your ‘Kerala ’ tour, as you are transferred to the airport in Kochi /railway station in Ernakulam for your onward journey. (B)
