Today we explore Lhasa. Your first stop will be The Potala Palace with its 10,000 steps. It is the largest structure in Tibet. Then we visit to the most celebrated temple in Tibet the The Jokhang Temple . The afternoon is a little more relaxed with time to enjoy some leisure time in Barkhor Street to shop and to look at some of the local crafts.

Day 03: Lhasa

Activities:
Today you will go to visit Sera Monastery . It is known as one of the three greatest monasteries of Tibet. As one of the three main monasteries of Lhasa, it is here that the monks "famous daily debates" take place. One of the most famous souvenir in Tibet is carpet.Then we will go to The Carpet Factory. By visiting the Factory you will have a general idea how carpets are produced. After lunch you will have a chance to visit Drepung Monastery and Norbulingka . Drepung Monastery used to be the living palace of Dalai Lamas before the reconstruction of Potala palace (after the 5th Dalai Lamas was bestowed by Qing emperor Qianlong). Norbulingka means "Jeweled Garden". It was constructed as a summer palace for the Dalai Lama and later served the whole governmental administration.

Day 04: Lhasa, Shigatse

Destinations: Lhasa to Shigatse

Activities:
Drive to Lake Yamdrok - one of the three holy lakes in Tibet. You can choose to enjoy a pinic luch by the lake side. Then drive for about 4 hours to Shigatse, the second largest city in Tibet.

Day 05: Shigatse, Lhasa

Destinations: Shigatse to Lhasa

Activities:
Visit Tashilhunpo Monastery which is painted in red and white. The buildings in the monastery stand close together in terraced rows offer a great view of the surrounding country side. After having lunch we will drive back to Lhasa. Enjoy the grassland views on the way (about 4 hours).

Destinations: Depart from Lhasa

Activities:

DAY 01: Arrive Beijing
Arrive Beijing in the morning, capital of China. Meet and greet in the airport. Upon arrival, directly visit the enchanting Summer Palace, one of China's largest and best-preserved royal gardens. Lunch is at local restaurant. Then check in hotel. (L)

DAY 02: Beijing
After breakfast, visit to Tian'anmen Square, the largest urban square in the world, where you may photo stop in front of Great Hall of the People & Museum of Chinese History (not including entrance tickets); and then visit the "Forbidden City", the biggest palace complex in the world. In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Heaven where the emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties worshipped heaven and prayed for good harvest. DAY 04: Beijing-Tianjin-Chengde
After breakfast, transfer to the railway station and take bullet train with the second class soft seats to Tianjin. Kong is the family surname of Confucius and his descendants. Confucius’ Cemetery – The Confucian Forest, It is about 1.5 kilometers north of Qufu and is the Confucius family cemetery; it harbors Confucius' tomb and his descendants tombs.

Transfer from Qufu to Tai’an. Arriving at foot of Mt.Taishan. (1.2hs around) Full day excursion to Mount Tai and Lunch on the peak or in the city. Taking tourist bus to go to the halfway of the mountain.Cable car to the summit. Visiting the South Gate Heavenly, Street heavenly, White clouds Pavilion, inscription on the cliff, Bixia Temple, North-pointing rock, Sun rising Peak, and so on, and then climb down by cable car and tourist bus.

Day 05: Xi'an
Begin the day's activity with an once-in-a-lifetime viewing of the extraordinary 2,200-year-old Terracotta Warriors & Horses of China's first feudal Emperor, Qin Shihuang. Then visit Huaqing Hot Spring. The Huaqing Hot Springs are located approximately 25 km east of Xi'an. It was built in 723 by Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang dynasty as part of the Huaqing Palace, using the locally-occurring geothermal heating, and is famous as the supposed scene of Xuanzong's romance with his consort Yang Guifei. Day 06: Xi'an-Guilin
After breakfast, take the flight to Guilin. Guilin is one of China's top attractive destinations. Meet with the guide in the airport. Day 07: Guilin-Yangshuo-Guilin
After breakfast, today's highlight is cruising down the Li River, which stretches 83 kilometers from Guilin to Yangshuo. The cruise will give you a chance to savor the lovely view of the area's extraordinary limestone peaks. The cruise ends in Yangshuo. Yangshuo is a charming small town with its main street lined with small hotels, countless souvenir shops and restaurants. When arrival, visit local market. Then transfer back to Guilin by coach. Day 08: Guilin-Hangzhou
