Day 1: Rome
Arrive in Rome and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Rome.
Day 2: Rome —
Assisi — Siena — Florence (380 kilometres)
Depart early morning for ancient, walled Assisi, where the
Basilica houses Renaissance masterpieces by Giotto and Cimabue.
Visit mediaeval Siena before dinner and overnight in Florence.
Day 3: Florence
A guided sightseeing tour of Piazza del Duomo, Santa Maria
del Fiore Cathedral, Giotto’s Bell Tower, St John’s
Baptistery, Michelangelo’s ‘David’ in the
Academy of Fine Arts and Cimabue’s crucifix in 13th
century Santa Croce. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure
perhaps sightseeing or shopping. Overnight in Florence.
Day 4: Florence —
Padua — Venice (250 kilometres)
Depart for Venice via Padua, where you visit St Anthony’s
Cathedral, before your guided walking tour of Venice, including
St Mark’s Piazza and Basilica, Doge’s Palace,
Bridge of Sighs, the Prisons and a glass factory. Overnight
in Venice.
Day 5: Venice
Spend the day at your leisure (optional excursion available).
Overnight in Venice.
Day 6: Venice —
Milan (270 kilometres)
Depart for Milan in the morning, where a brief tour of the
city includes the Scala Opera House and the Duomo. Overnight
in Milan.
Day 7: Milan
Transfer to the airport and flight back to Dubai via Rome.
