LOCATION:
This
hotel has lots of atmosphere in a historical environment among
the narrow streets of the Gamla Stan, with the Royal Palace, Storkyrkan,
and the Houses of Parliament all close by. The hotel is unique
due to its location in a building from the middle of the 17th
century. The rooms have recently been renovated in the Gustavian
style with high class comfort. Conference facilities are also
available in the genuine cellar vaults.
Transport and communication; 43 km from Arlanda Airport International
Airport, 1 km from the Central Station, 50 m from the underground
station. Local buses "just round the corner".
ACCOMMODATION:
The
hotels have 51 rooms double/single, of which 1 mini-suite
and 26 non-smoking rooms. The entire hotel was renovated in
1998 with an 18th century style. All rooms equipped with toilet
and shower/bath, hair dryer, radio, cable TV, telephone, and
minibar.

RESTAURANT:
The
hotel has no restaurant of its own, just a breakfast room. But
there are innumerable restaurants offering Swedish and international
cuisine around the hotel. The following restaurants are in the

RECREATION:
The
majority and best of what Stockholm can offer is within walking
distance from the hotel; restaurants, attractions, shops and stores.
For example, visit the Stockholm Medieval Museum which is an exciting
underground museum that depicts the origins and medieval development
of the city.
Or take a walk to the Stockholm City Hall where the Nobel Prize
festivities take place in the Blue Hall and the Golden Hall. And
from the City Hall Tower Museum you have a wonderful view of the
whole of the city. The outdoor attractions, nightlife, restaurants,
and major theatres, are all within walking distance of the hotel.
CONFERENCE FACILITIES:
The
two conference rooms are located in the 17th century vaults. The
larger is suitable for 25 people and the smaller for 8. Modern
equipment included, such as OH, flip chart, whiteboard, TV, and
video recorder.
