HOTEL DESCRIPTION: Hotel Bastion is an urban hideaway situated in Oslo's old town. We are situated only a few minutes walk from the central station with the airport express train, the main street Karl Johans gate, the harbour Aker Brygge and the City Hall as well as the new Opera House. All our 99 rooms are individually decorated in a fashionable and intimate style. At the Hotel Bastion, we take pride in giving service with a personal touch. We invite you to complimentary breakfast, fruit, coffee and tea all day and waffles in the afternoon. A light evening meal is also included in the rocm rate. At Hotel Bastion you are also welcome to visit our relax-department with jacuzzi, sauna and training facilities. Wireless Internet access is free of charge for all our guest with a Choice Club-card. HOTEL ACCOMMODATION: All 99 rooms and suites are air conditioned, and with their own, intimate and unpretentious style. This is especially the case with our deluxe rooms, suites and junior suites, which are among the most beautiful and best equipped hotel rooms in Oslo. These rooms are in the new wing from 2001, and there is hardly any Norwegian hotel having received so much acclaim from the national and international press since this part of the hotel was opened.

Interior design
In cooperation with one of Norway's best reputed interior designers, Anemone W. Våge, especially known from her successful decoration of the royal couples private apartment at the castle in Oslo, the hotel's proprietor and general manager, Morten Moerch, has personally chosen all furniture, fabrics, pictures etc. from all over the world.

The baths of the deluxe rooms can be given as an example of the thoughtfulness gone into the decoration. The bath tubs can be shared by two and there are TVs installed to be viewed from the tub. In the 11 suites and junior suites the baths even have separate showers and Jacuzzis.

The beds in these rooms are electrically adjustable and there are safes with output to recharge you PC. All our rooms have:

From 15-18 we invite you to make your own waffles.
