HOTEL DESCRIPTION
The Hotel is one of the oldest hotels in Naples. It was first opened in 1890, as related by the famous German painter Christian Wilhelm Allers in his book “Beautiful Naples”, which tells how he used to stay there in 1892 and how a good traveller “… would not regret staying in a hotel near the station and lunching in one of the best trattorias in the area”. He continues: “... this is why, every time I come to Naples, I go to a hotel near the station, namely the Rebecchino Hotel, formerly Palazzo Romano, which overlooks Corso Garibaldi and is always full of life”.
