LOCATION: The
well-known and popular hotel of age was built according to the plans
of one of the most famous Hungarian architects, Miklós Ybl.
The edifice beaten by the tempests of history was re-opened in 1986
completely refurbished, also refurbished in 2000 for the second
time.

is a special feature that the adjacent Danubius Thermal Hotel
Margitsziget - which is under the same management - may be
reached through a heated underground passage, thus the guests
of Danubius Grand Hotel Margitsziget may use the medicinal
department, as well as the fitness and other facilities offered
there without any further arrangement.
0.5 km to Buda and Pest business districts. 25km to airport,
5 km to train station. Accommodates 350 guests.The hotel is
a restored 19th century building built in 1873. Indoor pool,

Three thermal springs feed the world famous spa to offer relaxation
and cure for thousands of visitors each season. The spa's
treatment centre is equipped with the most modern balneo,
electro, mechano and dental technology. Specially trained,
multilingual medical staff are at the guests disposal.
The therapy is based on the water of three springs containing
calcium, hydrogen-carbonate, chloride and sulphate.
Balneotherapy includes underwater massage, underwater gymnastics,
effervescent bath, mud packs, baths using extensive weight
equipment. The electrotherapy departments have the most up-todate
technical equipments. Iontophoresis, galvanic current, interference
current, ultrasound, photo therapeutic treatments are available,
just to mention a few. Traditional methods of treatments are
also complimented by medical massage, medical gymnastics and
