Unique architecture by the sea: Scandic Grand Marina, originally built in the early 20th century as a harbour warehouse, charms guests with its setting. Each building in the Katajanokka district has a unique history. The city centre, with its market squares and other attractions, is only a short walk away, while the sea adds nature's presence to the cityscape.

ROOM FEATURES
Our Standard rooms can accommodate one, two or three people. Choose either a smoking or a non-smoking room. Our comfortable and spacious Superior rooms have a peaceful and attractive atmosphere. Some of the rooms have a roof window which lets in more light and gives a feeling of space.
When you want a taste of luxury, choose one of our unique Suites. You can choose between our Ateljé, Conference or Two-floor Suite. Suites are equipped with refrigerator, microwave and tea/coffee maker. At 16 sq metres, our Economy rooms are small but functional. They are bright and comfortable, and have the same amenities as the other rooms in the hotel. Choose either a smoking or a non-smoking room.

RESTAURANT AND BARS: Makasiini Bar - The lobby bar is a popular place for meeting friends or just watching the world go by over a special coffee, a glass of good wine, a cocktail or a beer. In summer, enjoy Makasiini’s sunny terrace.
The Makasiini Restaurant at Scandic Grand Marina is characterised by the delightful early 20th-century milieu and the magnificent view of the harbour with its giant ferries. The scandinavian menu makes excellent use of the very best seasonal produce and wines for lunch and dinner.
HOTEL FACILITIES: The hotel has seven meeting rooms and the Marina Congress Centre has eleven meeting rooms, making an excellent framework for all sizes and types of banquets and festivities. The rooms have flexible spatial arrangements and maritime decor. Our conference team is dedicated to ensuring your meeting is a complete success. Our gym is located by the sauna and has all the latest equipment.
