Von Plessen was the name of the first owner of the historical building now housing the Phoenix Copenhagen. The Von Plessen family has also owned several Danish manors and castles.
A meal in Restaurant Von Plessen is a delightful culinary experience. The recipes all consist of the best meat, fowl or fish the market offers. Fresh vegetables and salads and seducing desserts. The food is accompanied by the well-known traditional Danish beer or lovely wines from the well-assorted and wide-ranging wine menu.
You will find the restaurant in the hotel's basement; in large and beautiful rooms that reveal the age of the historical building, despite the sweeping renovation. The decor, tables and chairs are still closely connected with the manor style. |
