March to May is hot and dry. June to October is rainy, November to February is cool. Average temperatures: 78°F / 25°C to 90°F / 32°C; humidity is 77%.
LANGUAGES
Two official languages --- Filipino and English. Filipino which is based on Tagalog, is the national language. English is also widely used and is the medium of instruction in higher education.
Eight (8) major dialects spoken by majority of the Filipinos: Tagalog, Cebuano, Ilocano, Hiligaynon or Ilonggo, Bicol, Waray, Pampango, and Pangasinense.

CAGAYAN PROVINCE - Dubbed as the Caver's Paradise, Cagayan Province is home to the Penablanca Protected Landscape (Callao Caves), the Northern corridor to the Northern Sierra Madre Natural Park, home to some 300 caves, 75 of which are documented. The Basilica Minore of Our Lady of Piat is a favorite destination of pilgrims who pray for favors, healing and other special graces. It is also the home of the Cagayan River, the mightiest, longest and widest river in the country.

NUEVA VISCAYA PROVINCE - Located on the western side of Nueva Vizcaya Province is Mt . Pulag, the highest peak in Luzon and the Dalton Pass Park and Tourism Complex, which is the gateway to the Cagayan Valley Region and the Ifugao Rice Terraces. It also boasts of the Capisaan Cave System which is the 5th largest and one of the best in the country with unique stalactite and stalagmite formations and subterranean river .

QUIRINO PROVINCE - Aside from being the home of magestic waterfalls (Victoria and Bisangal Waterfalls) and the facinating caves (Nagbukel and Aglipay Caves ) Quirino Province is also rich in history as its Aglipay Town was where Fr Gregorio Aglipay, a priest belonging to the Philippine Indipendent Church who rebelled against the Spanish colonizers came from .
